Richard's Cabinets provides:

  • Sculpture pedestals, turntables and bases for galleries and collectors.
  • Motorized turntables and pedestals.
  • A technique for illuminating glass and acrylic sculptures with very little heat, no ultra violet and no bulbs to burn out. This technique allows the illuminated turntables to have a very low profile, only 1 1/2 inches high. The illuminated pedestals can also have multiple illumination configurations that are independently controlled or sequentially controlled.
  • Mahogany coin cabinets for the numismatic collector.
  • Medal cabinets and displays for art medals.
  • To place an order:
Discuss your needs with Richard. If a customized item is desired, a proposal will be sent with a fixed price and approximate delivery schedule. Background Information

Each piece produced at Richard's Cabinets and Woodworking is handcrafted with careful attention to every detail. Each board is personally selected with its end use in mind. After several sanding operations and assembly, the piece is finished with an up to ten-step process following time-honored tradition of fine furniture craftsmanship.

Likewise, the electronic products are designed, fabricated and tested with techniques gleaned from twenty years experience designing and building communications equipment for numerous spacecraft. As a medal and sculpture collector every product is designed and fabricated with an understanding and appreciation of its end use.

After twenty five years making cabinets, our products can be found in corporate and professional offices, art galleries and fine homes across the country.
