This pedestal in black satin has a tapered octagonal base with an elliptical turntable. The turntable is driven by a reversible 1 rpm motor. The turntable provides dimmer controlled white illumination and multiple points of glimmering blue/aqua/green illumination each of which randomly changes color and intensity. The crystal sails is by Baccarat.
Motorized and Illuminated Turntable
This turntable has a 12" diameter base with a 13" diameter turntable. The overall height is only 5 1/4". It has a reversible 1 rpm motor and two dimmer controlled illumination sources. The four small sources provide an intense illumination into the four areas where the sculpture touches and a large central area provides a softer illumination. The motor and illumination are independently turned on and off by remote control. This turntable is for a sculpture by Michael Wilkinson.
